Store Manager

Location: TBD

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

As well as the usual sales and customer experience, you would be expected to own the day-to-day management of your store. The store manager is expected to oversee all aspects of the shop from sales, workshop, and ordering. You will be responsible for delivering strict sales and margin targets in line with all company goals.

This is an ideal opportunity to develop a new stores personality by driving your team to offer the best customer service in West Sussex and cementing your store as the go to store in the area.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail management role and a passion for customer service. Mechanical knowledge will be advantageous but not necessary. You will need to be organised and have an analytical approach to any job you undertake.

Key responsibilities:

- Work toward strict margin and sales targets.
- Identify areas for improvement within your store and the company.
- Set and maintain shop floor standards in your store.
- Ensure staff coverage with effective ROTA planning.
- Ensure all payroll is completed in a timely manner.
- Work with Distributors and Brands to ensure correct ranging in store.
- Drive workshop revenue through effective management of staff and time.
- Maintain profit and losses through effective stock management.
- Cash up and complete banking.
- Lead staff training and development.
- Own warranty procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Adhere to and suggest improvements on company processes and policies.
- Update sales, bike, P+A sales reports for management.
- Ability to ‘Think outside the Box’

About you:

- A passion for cycling is essential.
- At least 2 years of previous sales experience.
- Management experience would be preferred.

Key Holder

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Do you have a passion for cycling, sales and staff development?

Are you looking for your next steps within the cycling industry?

As well as the usual sales and customer experience you will be expected to be a key part of the day-to-day management of the store. Supporting the store management with all aspects of the shop from sales, workshop and ordering. You will be an integral member of the team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail sales role and a passion for customer service. Mechanical knowledge will be advantageous but not necessary. You will need to be organised and have an analytical approach to any job you undertake.

- Ability to sell and handle objections is essential.
- Direct appropriate staff to best serve customer needs.

- Complete daily store walk throughs and set out jobs for the day.
- Cashing up.
- Participate in staff training and development.
- Own warranty procedures and identify areas for improvement.
- Adhere to processes and policies.

- Work under pressure, while showing initiative.
- Run the shop in the absence of the store managers.

Sales Staff

Location: All

Job Type: Full/Part Time, Permanent

Do you have a passion for cycling and sales?

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales assistant to work in our fast-paced store.

You will be required to provide customers with technical and professional sales advice whilst providing and sourcing products that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail sales role and a passion for customer service. Mechanical knowledge will be advantageous but not necessary.

Flexible approach to working hours is advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

- Assisting customers with retail purchases
- Processing transactions
- Drive sales by gaining an understanding of customer needs and presenting appropriate solutions
- Answering customer enquiries with excellent product knowledge in store and on the phone
- Ensuring a calendar of service work is managed and communication with customers is excellent
- Ensuring the store is presentable at all times
- Ensure stock levels are full and presentable on the sales floor
- Ensure back of house is presentable including communal areas and stock rooms

- Previous sales and retail experience is a plus
- Mechanical experience is preferred but not essential

Mechanic

Location: All

Job Type: Full/Part Time, Permanent

Do you have a passion for cycling and all things mechanical?

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic full time mechanic to join our busy workshops.

Previous experience in a bike workshop and a passion for customer service is key, as well as a passion for cycling.

eBikes are now a large proportion of the bikes being worked on, experience with these would be useful but not essential. Training will be made available if needed.

Key responsibilities:

- Repairs on all types of bikes, including eBikes, hydraulic brakes and Di2.
- Building new bikes and carrying out PDIs for the sales floor
- Delivering excellent customer service with an emphasis on communication
- Maintain a professional environment in store and keeping a clean work area.
- Understanding product knowledge to answer customer queries properly.

About you:

- A passion for cycling is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience in a workshop, with a Cytech 2 or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience of working on eBikes is advantageous.
- Flexible approach and problem solving
- Excellent communication skills
